Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our technology team in Cape Town. You’ll work across the full stack — building and maintaining robust backend services in C#/.NET , developing modern front-end experiences with TypeScript and JavaScript , and integrating AI-driven capabilities into products. This role also involves working with AWS to build and scale cloud-native solutions. What You’ll Do Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Develop responsive, high-quality front-end applications using TypeScript and JavaScript Integrate AI/ML capabilities , including LLM-based features and intelligent automation, into existing and new products Build and manage cloud integrations and infrastructure on AWS Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and data, to deliver end-to-end solutions Write clean, testable, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews Contribute to architectural decisions and help improve engineering practices What We’re Looking For Strong hands-on experience with C# / .NET Solid experience with TypeScript and JavaScript Practical experience integrating or building with AI/ML technologies Experience with AWS services and cloud integration patterns Based in or willing to work from Cape Town Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Nice to Have Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries Exposure to microservices architecture and containerisation ( Docker/Kubernetes ) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
