Accountabilities:

Act as a cross-functional engineering expert supporting multiple teams, including production support, implementation, and incident management squads.
Investigate and resolve complex production issues, identifying root causes through logs, metrics, code analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Participate in critical incident response processes, contributing to mitigation plans, post-mortem analysis, and platform reliability improvements.
Develop, maintain, and enhance backend-focused solutions while contributing to frontend implementations when necessary to deliver end-to-end features.
Improve platform scalability, performance, observability, and resilience through proactive monitoring and architectural enhancements.
Build and maintain integrations between internal and external systems, APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.
Write clean, efficient, and testable code following engineering best practices, code review standards, and automated testing strategies.
Monitor production environments using observability tools and contribute to documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Collaborate actively with engineering squads to unblock deliveries and support continuous technical improvement across the organization.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Software Engineer with strong backend expertise and the ability to contribute across the full stack when needed.
Polyglot engineering mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to different programming languages, frameworks, and technical environments.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, especially in production environments with limited initial context.
Experience working with distributed systems, REST APIs, microservices, and reliability-focused engineering practices.
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, including query optimization.
Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Sentry, New Relic, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git workflows, and modern software engineering best practices.
Previous experience supporting production systems, incident response, or platform reliability operations.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ownership mindset, strong prioritization abilities, and comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, or messaging systems such as Kafka and RabbitMQ is a plus.
Background in highly scalable environments, regulated industries, or healthtech ecosystems is considered an advantage.
