A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Designs, develops, documents, and implements AI-enabled solutions that address customer pain points and translate business needs into practical, scalable, and maintainable technical outcomes.
• Partners with architects, value teams, PMs, customer-facing teams, and product teams to understand business problems, evaluate technical options, and present solution approaches, trade-offs, and measurable customer value.
• Independently develops solution hypotheses, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production-ready components that enable quick validation, rapid iteration, and accelerated customer outcomes.
• Decomposes complex problems into manageable components for communication at both business and technical levels
• Should have the automated testing knowledge and be able to apply it.
• Mines and analyzes customer data, process flows, transactions, logs, documents, and operational signals in partnership with architects, value teams, and PMs to identify patterns, problem areas, automation opportunities, and high-value AI use cases.
• Works as an AI Engineer within the FDE team, taking ownership of assigned technical workstreams and collaborating closely with customer-facing teams, architects, PMs, product teams, and delivery teams to execute solution blueprints.
• Uses modern productivity and AI-assisted engineering tools such as Kiro, Claude, and similar platforms to accelerate discovery, solution design, coding, prototyping, documentation, and delivery.
• Continuously upskills in AI engineering practices, emerging GenAI tools, data engineering, prompt engineering, evaluation methods, responsible AI, and cloud-native implementation patterns, and applies that learning independently to customer solution delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or master’s degree is required (preferable in field of technology, Engineering preferred)
• Experience of at least 10+ years in software engineering, data engineering, AI/ML engineering, cloud platforms, integrations, workflow automation, or related technology domains, preferably in leading industry verticals such as manufacturing or distribution.
• Hands-on experience building, implementing, and supporting AI solutions for customers, including generative AI, machine learning, data pipelines, APIs, workflow orchestration, security, scalability, and operational readiness.
• Direct product or enterprise application experience with at least one Infor CloudSuite, data structures, APIs, extension points, integration patterns, and customer delivery models is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent environments, with familiarity in data governance, security, and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and data sovereignty requirements.
• Strong scripting, automation, and data manipulation skills such as Python, SQL, APIs, workflow tooling, vector search, embeddings, model evaluation, and low-code automation for accelerator development and AI-assisted solution delivery.
• Prior experience with GovCloud or public-sector engagements requiring data sovereignty compliance.
