This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in our Dublin office three times per week.

As a mid levelfrontendengineer,you’llwork closely with other SquadEngineerstohelpscope and deliver impactful featuresYou’llhave the chance to contribute to Front-End projects (React)that enhance our eCommerce Store

Our Squads typically consist of 1x Principal Engineer, 3-4x Back-End, 1–2x Front-End, 1–2x QA, and 1x Automation QA and team members are spread across multiple locations. The Engineering Manager, whoyou’llreport into is based in Ireland.

Our eCommerce Squads are close-knit, collaborative, and passionate about enhancing the store (supporting ~7million users) andwe’dlove foryou to join us.

Tech stack used by this team:

Java 17, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Web Stack, Spring Data or Spring JDBC), RESTful webservices, Apache Camel, AWS, Terraform, API, Oracle, Postgres, NoSQL DB, PL/SQL, JMeter, Jenkins, Sonar, Maven, Git, React, Docker/Containerization, Open Search, Kafka, Lambda.

The skills you will bring:

• You have 4+years' experiencebuilding andmaintainingmodern web applications

• Good experiencewith React and JavaScript/TypeScript

• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and modern frontend development practices

• Experience building accessible user interfaces, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and usability best practices

• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs

• Familiarity with frontend testing approaches and writing maintainable, well-tested code

• Comfortable working as part of an agile, cross-functional team

• Exposure to AWS, CI/CD pipelines, or Java/Spring Boot environments is a bonus, but notrequired

• Hasparticipatedinteam design discussions by presenting and defending proposed solutions to technical stakeholders such asSeniorEngineers orPrincipal Engineers

• You have collaborated openly with the team on shared items of work and communicated well in a team-oriented environment across locations.
