About Brite Payments

Founded in 2019, Brite Payments is a Swedish fintech and a leader in Instant Account-to-Account (A2A) payments. With connections to over 3,800+ banks, Brite enables consumers to pay directly from their bank account (also known as Pay by Bank) in real-time.

With no signup or card details required, users authenticate using their bank’s usual ID method, which is not only convenient and secure but provides merchants with fast fund settlement, zero chargebacks, and reduced costs.

Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Brite operates across 27 European markets, utilising local payment rails, open banking, and our own proprietary infrastructure, Brite Instant Payments Network (IPN).

What you will do

As a Software Engineer at Brite you will work with our core team of highly skilled developers. Your tasks will be to develop and build a scalable and future-proof framework. You will be working on core banking functionality, the foundational systems upon which the organization's broader product development depends. This role emphasizes precision, system integrity and reliability. As a Developer at Brite, you will have a major impact on building the foundation of our core platform. With that said, you will be a vital part of the next fintech unicorn!

Are you a Brite mind?

• 3+ years of Python backend development (building, deploying, and maintaining).
• Deploying and managing cloud-native applications (GCP preferred).
• Building or working within distributed systems and microservices.
• Designing or scaling event-driven architectures.
• Working with systems where data integrity is critical.

Preferred Skills

• FastAPI and Pydantic for API development and data validation.
• Deploying and managing services on Google Cloud Run or similar platforms.
• Docker and containerization technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
