As part of the Supply Chain Innovation team, you will play a pivotal role in building end-to-end, best-in-class software solutions for Apple’s Supply Chain needs, spanning Planning, Pricing, and Product Distribution. You will design and implement robust data models, develop Python-based middleware services, and collaborate with various internal stakeholders to define solutions that optimise Apple’s internal business processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with databases such as SingleStore, Oracle, Snowflake, NoSQL, or Graph.
• Exposure to Product Pricing processes or pricing-related business domains.
• Strong ability to research, design, and develop complex technical solutions involving multiple technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience with Python ecosystem tools (Pandas, SQLAlchemy, NumPy) for data manipulation and integration.
• Experience in consuming and exposing web services (e.g., SOAP, REST).
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux platforms and scripting experience with Shell, XML, JSON.
• AI/ML-related experience is a plus.
• A strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG is a plus.
• Experience in developing applications for the Supply Chain business domain is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experienced in enterprise-level application development using advanced Oracle database technologies.
• Strong data modelling skills — conceptual, logical, and physical — with the ability to design schemas that serve both operational and analytical use cases.
• Proven experience developing Python middleware services (APIs, integration layers, data orchestration) and hands-on experience with large-volume databases for both OLTP and OLAP environments.
• Proven expertise in ETL, performance optimisation, and maintenance of solutions based on Oracle databases.
