Job Description

Wie Sie uns weiterbringen

  • Sie nehmen Fahrt auf bei der Entwicklung und Wartung von modernen, responsiven Frontend-Anwendungen mit React (oder vergleichbaren Frameworks).
  • Sie bringen Sich aktiv bei der Konzeption, Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung von UI/UX-Komponenten ein und zugehöriger Backends in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produktmanagement.
  • Die Integration von Frontend-Anwendungen mit unseren Java/Spring Boot Backends unter Berücksichtigung von REST- und event-basierten Architekturen gehört ebenfalls zu Ihren Aufgaben.
  • Die Sicherstellung von Softwarequalität und Performance durch Unit- und Integrationstests, Code-Reviews bereitet Ihnen Freude.
  • Dazu gehört auch die aktive Mitgestaltung der Softwarearchitektur, insbesondere in Bezug auf Frontend-Komponenten, API-Design und Microservice-Kommunikation.
  • Continous Integration und Continous Deployment (CI/CD) für Frontend und Backend mittels Azure DevOps sind für Sie nicht neu.
  • Ihren Kolleginnen und Kollegen stehen Sie bei der Sicherstellung einer nahtlosen Integration und eines durchgängigen Workflowsmit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.
  • Sie evaluieren und führen neue Technologien und Tools ein zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer Entwicklungs- und Deployment-Prozesse (z.B. Observability, Security-Standards und neue Frameworks).

Was wir an Ihnen schätzen

  • Sie überzeugen uns mit Ihrem Studium der Informatik oder einer vergleichbaren Ausbildung.
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in moderner Frontend-Entwicklung mit React oder vergleichbaren Frameworks bringen Sie mit.
  • Sie haben fundierte Erfahrung in der Anbindung von REST-basierten Schnittstellen.
  • Gute Kenntnisse in den Programmiersprachen Java und Python, Wissen über Spring Boot sind ein Plus.
  • Mit Ihrer Erfahrung im Umgang mit relationalen und/oder dokumentenorientierten Datenbanken punkten Sie bei uns.
  • Sie haben bereits Erfahrung mit CI/CD-Tools und Technologien, ideralerweise in Microsoft Azure sowie cloud-nativen Architekturen.
  • Praktische Erfahrung mit Kubernetes sind von Vorteil.
  • Sie haben eine ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten und Problemlösungskompetenz.
  • Sicheres Auftreten im Team und Kommunikationsstärke – in gutem Deutsch oder Englisch – runden Ihr Profil ab.

About DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand

Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT) is an international company operating within the automotive

industry. In accordance with its mandate, it collects and prepares comprehensive vehicle data and provides

the sector with cost-effective, nationwide access to it via the SilverDAT® System.

DAT sees itself as a neutral intermediary between all the stakeholders in the automotive industry. Ever since

1931 it has been funded by its three partners: the VDA (Association of the German Automotive Industry),

the VDIK (Association of International Motor Vehicle Manufacturers) and the ZDK (German Federation

for Motor Trades and Repairs). This structure gives DAT a unique status and a special mandate within the

automotive industry.

In addition to providing a nationwide network of automotive experts in Germany, DAT’s main tasks are to

observe the market and document technical data for all makes of vehicles and to augment this with

additional relevant facts. This know-how is consolidated in the SilverDAT® software, which offers its users

numerous options for the digitisation of their processes. This includes e.g. precise vehicle identification via

VIN queries (Vehicle Identification Number), repair-cost calculations, used-car valuations, key-data analyses

and residual-value forecasts. Hire-car costs and compensation for loss of use can also be automatically

calculated where necessary. Process-oriented online claims-management systems facilitate paperless

communication between all parties involved in a claim and allows them to process digital claims files.

DAT leverages its immensely valuable collection of data to develop new products and services, such as the

analysis of vehicle groups by their equipment levels and the combination with other equipment features.
