From our office in Porto, we’re looking for a Software Engineer who’s eager to contribute to the evolution of the Miles Enterprise Suite as part of a new initiative focused on truck and equipment leasing, adapting the platform to complex assets such as trucks, excavators, and material handling equipment within a fast-growing mobility domain.

What you’ll do...

• Develop new features;
• Analyze existing code and design technical solutions based on functional requirements;
• Collaborate with fellow engineers in an Agile Scrum team, participating in stand-ups, backlog refinements, and retrospectives;
• Work closely with Product Owners to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions;
• Contribute to the global developer community by sharing best practices and driving innovation.

What you bring...

• 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer developing scalable, production-ready solutions;
• Strong expertise in Java 17, Java EE7, and Java frameworks;
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL;
• Experience with Microservices architecture;
• Fluent communication skills in English.

Earn bonus points for...

• Knowledge of additional languages besides English.
