Job: Software Engineer Manager

Technical Stack: Java, AWS

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Type: Contract or Perm

Length: 12 months

Rate: 500 per day / 100k+

Work Arrangement: 2-3 day a week in the office

We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer Lead / manager to guide a team from 5-10 people to build innovatively and continuously improve our customer's ways of working.

We are looking for people with the below experience:

• Experience leading a high performing, large team of engineers
• Excellent cross functional stakeholder management skills
• Come from a software engineering background with knowledge and experience in Java and other java related technologies
• Strong experience in AWS Cloud environment
• Excellent technical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

In the role you can expect to be responsible for:

• Leading of a multi-disciplinary software development team
• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly and monthly goals
• Liaising with team members, management and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard
• Hiring, building and growing strong teams
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
• Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required
• Motivating staff and creating a space where they can excel
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures and successes
