We are seeking a Software Engineer whose primary responsibility is the development and configuration of Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions on the Decision Focus no-code/low-code platform, with a secondary focus on Workday integration support. The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain risk and compliance workflows, automations, and reporting within Decision Focus while supporting the integration, security, and reporting layers that connect it to enterprise systems such as Workday. This role operates in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment supporting both application and infrastructure teams.

Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and develop GRC solutions on Decision Focus, including workspaces, forms, data models, field logic, automations, approval routing, and escalation rules.

  • Build and maintain risk registers, control libraries, assessment templates, and compliance frameworks within the platform.

  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for risk and compliance stakeholders.

  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into platform configurations.

  • Provide Workday integration support, including the design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of integrations, along with associated security and reporting configurations.

  • Build and support API-based integrations between Decision Focus, Workday, and other enterprise/ERP systems.

  • Support monitoring, alerting, and proactive management of production systems to ensure availability and performance.

  • Support 3rd party hosted systems and partner with application and infrastructure teams on issue resolution.

  • Document configurations, build guides, integration designs, and maintain change control records.

  • Support audit readiness and produce evidence as required for internal and external audits.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Basic to intermediate coding or scripting experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, XSLT, XML, or similar).

  • Demonstrable development/configuration experience on at least one enterprise GRC no-code/low-code platform (Decision Focus strongly preferred; ServiceNow GRC, RSA Archer, MetricStream, OneTrust, or LogicGate also considered).

  • Strong understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance concepts (risk assessment, controls, policies, audit, regulatory compliance).

  • Workday integration experience, including security and reporting.

  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, and ERP systems such as Workday.

  • Finance/accounting knowledge and finance technology experience in a corporate environment.

  • Experience with monitoring tools for infrastructure monitoring, reporting, and alerting processes.

  • Demonstrated success in supporting application and infrastructure teams.

  • Expertise in proactive management of production systems.

  • Experience with Insurance / Reinsurance systems and data.

  • Experience supporting 3rd party hosted systems.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Ability to convey technical concepts in a clear, understandable way.

  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and rapidly changing environment.

  • Ability to establish credibility, influence, and effective working relationships with peers and stakeholders.

  • Ability to interact and partner at all levels across the organization.

  • Ability to be both strategic and tactical in day-to-day interactions.

  • Knowledge and experience with APIs and API development with microservices.

  • Knowledge of Alteryx Analytics and OneStream systems (nice to have).

  • Experience with ETL development, data manipulation, and transformation.

  • Other helpful tool knowledge a plus, including HTML, SAS, SQL, and XML.

  • Familiarity with the project management software JIRA a plus.

  • Solid design and implementation experience.

Education

  • Required knowledge & skills would typically be acquired through a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field plus 5+ years of related experience.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in the solutions delivery space (e.g. creating and deploying applications)
