Job Description

We have following urgent role with our  DIRECT client

Title:  Software Engineer (Java, Spring, Web Service)
Location: Durham, NC

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: Market


Duties: Tivo’s Metadata business powers and revolutionizes the way people discovery entertainment content.  Our Metadata Services provide the foundation for intuitive search and navigation, enabling users to easily find and learn more about their favorite TV shows, movies, music, celebrities, sports, books, and games, as well as discover new ones.

Responsibilities of this Principal Software Engineer position include the following:

Design, software development, and maintenance of key systems and features.

Working in a SCRUM/Agile environment with 3-week Sprints and Daily Standups.

Skills: 
  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of technical experience in high-tech software development
  • Expertise with a variety of latest programming languages (Java, Python)
  • Exposure to Dev Ops, CI/CD, Jenkins/Teamcity or similar tools
  • Experience in REST based microservice using Java technologies
  • Experience in JUnit testing and automation testing
  • Experience in RDBMS
  • Experience in Spring Framework

Additional qualifications:
  • Experience in No-SQL, document databases is a plus.
  • Experience with developing microservices
  • Experience in Spring Boot
  • AWS, JBOSS BRMS, S3, NIFI ESB, JSON, docker, Kubernetes, Angular
  • Jira
