About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Java SDET with 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing and development. You’ll design and implement automated tests, frameworks, and tools to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
What You Will Do
- Test Automation:
- Design and implement automated tests using Java and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
- Develop test frameworks and tools to support testing efforts.
- Manual Testing:
- Perform manual testing and exploratory testing to identify defects and improve test coverage.
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with development teams to understand requirements and design test cases.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to develop and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for test process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
What You Need
- 3 to 6 years of experience in software testing and development using Java.
- Strong knowledge of Java programming and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
- Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Certifications, such as ISTQB or Certified ScrumMaster.
