Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications that enable image processing, inspection automation, and datadriven decisionmaking for advanced packaging.

• Work closely with process engineering, equipment teams, and IT partners to understand requirements and translate them into robust software solutions.

• Design, document, build, and test software components and services across the full stack.

• Analyze and resolve system issues, including image quality challenges, algorithm behavior, and performance bottlenecks.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on software quality, reliability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate withmultifunctionalteams on integration, end-to-end testing, deployment, and user enablement.

• Demonstrate Micron’s core values: People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, and Customer Focus

• Leverage generative AI and modern development tools to accelerate development cycles.

• Participate in a 24/7oncallstandby rotationto provide Level 3 (L3) operational supportfor Manufacturing IT applications owned by the team, including support during Emergency Response Team (ERT) activationsand Priority 1 / Priority 2 (P1/P2) incidents

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• Strong foundationin:

• Objectoriented programming (C#, Python, Java, or similar).

• Algorithms, data structures, and software design fundamentals.

• Basic databases (SQL or NoSQL).

• Exposure to or interest in:

• Image processing, computer vision, or machine learning concepts.

• Frontend frameworks (Angular/React/etc.) or TypeScript/JavaScript.

• RESTful APIs and backend development.

• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.

• Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework or project experience in image processing, CV, or ML.

• Familiarity with Pythonbased image libraries (OpenCV, Pillow,scikitimage).

• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools, oragile worktracking systems.

• Understanding ofbasic semiconductor or manufacturing concepts.

• Experience with AIassistedcoding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.).
