Software Engineer Intern

Are you looking to kick-start your career in software development at a time when the tools of the trade are changing fast? We're seeking a Development Intern who can pair solid fundamentals in Java and Angular with real fluency in AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to build and maintain applications using Java and Angular.
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of software components, using AI coding assistants to move faster without sacrificing quality.
• Write and refine prompts, and review AI-generated code critically before it reaches a pull request.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback — on both human- and AI-authored code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Explore and share new AI tools, workflows, and practices that could improve how the team works.

Requirements

• Basic understanding or experience in Java.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) in your own projects or coursework.
• Good judgment about when to trust AI output and when to verify — you understand that generated code still needs to be read, tested, and understood.
• Familiarity with Angular and Kotlin is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to join immediately.

Nice to have

• Experience building with LLM APIs, RAG, or agentic workflows.
• A portfolio, repo, or side project where AI tooling was part of how you built it.
