Resonate is an Australian SaaS company with an enterprise Customer Experience (CX) platform. Our Voice of Customer and Voice of Employee solutions leverage machine learning, text analytics, and data visualisation to deliver actionable insights to leading companies across the region. On the heels of market expansion, Resonate is hiring a Software Engineer Intern to accelerate our product development efforts.

Role: Software Engineer Intern

Key Responsibilities:

Work within an Agile development process alongside Product Designers, Customer Success Managers, Software Engineers, and QA Engineers Design, implement, and test software features and configuration changes throughout the deployment lifecycle Maintain software configuration in line with design documentation Follow established coding standards and development procedures

Requirements

Technical Skills:

Currently completing or recently completed a tertiary qualification in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline Solid software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g. C# / .NET) Familiarity with relational databases and SQL, with the ability to write basic to intermediate queries Exposure to front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or similar is a plus Understanding of modern development workflows including source control (Git) and exposure to CI/CD pipelines is a plus

  • Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot/Codex, or a genuine enthusiasm to learn and adopt them as part of your daily workflow

Soft Skills:

Strong customer-centric mindset, you understand and prioritise the end user's needs

Self-driven and ambitious, you're willing to take on responsibility and grow with the company Clear communicator, comfortable working across cross-functional teams Passionate about learning and staying current with emerging technologies, especially in the AI space Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on scale-up environment
