Software Engineer (Integrations)

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain robust integrations that connect the core platform with various external systems, APIs, and third-party services.
• Develop and maintain full-stack features using Python, Django, and React, contributing to both back-end services and front-end interfaces.
• Architect and implement REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints to support internal tooling and external integration partners.
• Collaborate closely with a small, cross-functional team to define integration requirements, data contracts, and system architecture decisions.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and edge cases across integration workflows.
• Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code that scales as the product and customer base grows.
• Contribute to technical strategy and help shape engineering best practices in an early-stage startup.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience, specifically focusing on integrations, APIs, or full-stack development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django for back-end development.
• Hands-on experience building and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL services.
• Working knowledge of React for front-end development and the ability to contribute across the full stack.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, small-team environment where ownership and initiative are expected.

Preferred

• Experience with poorly documented or legacy partner platforms and the ability to navigate ambiguities effectively.
• Proven track record of owning systems or features end-to-end, from scoping to maintenance, in a production environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience. You'll have the opportunity to join a small, high-impact team working on innovative AI technology.
