* Build and support cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud, including services that process, store, and analyze data.
* Work with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and related data platforms to support application features, reporting, and analytical use cases.
* Design, develop, and maintain extract, transform, and load processes and data pipelines that move data accurately and reliably.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality engineers, cloud engineers, data teams, and other software engineers to clarify requirements and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
* Write, review, and maintain code with attention to quality, test coverage, performance, and long-term supportability.
* Use generative artificial intelligence assisted development tools, such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools, to improve productivity while following team standards for quality, security, and review.
* Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, identify root causes, and contribute fixes that improve system reliability.
* Participate in agile planning, estimation, design discussions, code reviews, and team retrospectives.
* Mentor other engineers by sharing technical knowledge, reviewing designs, and supporting team learning.

**About You**

**Basic Qualifications**

* Experience designing and developing software applications using Java, Python, object-oriented programming, or modern web application development practices.
* Experience building or supporting cloud-based, distributed, or enterprise software solutions, including experience with Google Cloud.
* Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and analytical databases or data warehouse platforms such as BigQuery.
* Experience designing, developing, or supporting extract, transform, and load processes, data pipelines, or data integration solutions.
* Experience working with software development tools, source control, automated testing, and continuous integration or continuous delivery practices.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Experience with generative artificial intelligence assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
* Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Spring, RESTful services, or similar technologies.
* Experience with microservices, application performance, security, observability, or automated deployment.
* Experience working in an agile software development environment.
