About the Team
You will be part of the Recruiting product engineering team, focused on building scalable, reliable, and intuitive solutions used by global organizations to attract and hire talent. This team collaborates closely with product managers, designers, and quality engineers to deliver software that improves hiring experiences for candidates and recruiters alike.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer III, you will design, build, and maintain full‑stack software solutions that power UKG’s Recruiting product. This role exists to deliver high‑quality, secure, and scalable software while contributing to continuous improvement in engineering practices and product outcomes.
What you’ll do:
You’ll design and develop full‑stack solutions using React, .NET Core MVC, and MongoDB to deliver reliable recruiting workflows.
You’ll build and integrate asynchronous services using messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ or Kafka to support scalable system communication.
You’ll collaborate with product and quality partners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
You’ll participate in agile planning, code reviews, and continuous integration to improve software quality and delivery speed.
You’ll identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues to ensure stable and performant solutions.
About You
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Professional experience building enterprise software using modern web technologies and backend frameworks.
Hands-on experience with React, .NET Core MVC, and MongoDB in production environments.
Experience designing, developing, and supporting distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Exposure to agile software development and collaborative engineering practices.
Experience building solutions for high‑availability, customer‑facing applications.
Familiarity with recruiting, human capital management, or workforce technology domains.
