
The Software Engineer III is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex software applications and systems. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions while providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business and technical requirements.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices.Lead the technical design and architecture of new applications, features, and system enhancements.Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define project requirements and technical specifications.Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to promote high-quality software development.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.Develop and execute unit, integration, and system testing strategies.Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.Mentor and support junior developers through coaching and knowledge sharing.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to development processes, tools, and technologies.Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and company standards.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)5–8+ years of professional software development experience.Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScriptExperience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and software development best practices.Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Experience with source control systems such as Git.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
The expected salary range for this role is (USD $76,600.00 - USD $115,000.00 Yr.)
