Global Business Services

Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

Global Business Services is recognized for flawless execution, sound risk management, operational resiliency, operational excellence, and innovation.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview*

Global Banking & Markets division serves mid- to large-sized corporations and institutional clients worldwide. It is comprised of Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking, Global Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets and Wholesale Credit, Chief Risk Office and Chief Finance Office portfolios. Corporate Treasury and Forecasting Technology is responsible for end-to-end technology solutions and support for the office of Treasurer as part of the Chief Financial Officer organization.

Individual will perform as a contributing member of the development team that involves understanding the business, creating strategies and specifications for technical solutions, system design documents & developing React based web applications. Hands-on experience while working on complex, multi-tier enterprise applications. Hands-on programming experience using JavaScript, Typescript, RXJS, Angular, SQL, Java, etc.

Responsibilities*

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, preferably with exposure to risk management, trading, or other key functions in the banking transaction lifecycle
• Hands-on experience while working on complex, multi-tier enterprise applications
• Hands-on programming experience using JavaScript, Typescript, RXJS, Angular, SQL, Java, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SQL using Exadata or another database. Experience with object-oriented databases is a plus
• Experienced team leader, capable of leading a mid-sized team and be responsible for end-to-end project delivery.
• Proven ability to operate within the global environment operating from multiple locations and time zones
• Proven experience in identifying and managing the risks, issues and dependencies related to large, complex programs

Requirements

Education*

Education: B.E. in Computer Science / Electronics or Masters

Certifications If Any*

Angular UI Certification is good to have

Experience Range*

5 to 7 years

Foundational skills*

• Proven expertise on using JavaScript, Typescript, RXJS, Angular, SQL with ability to rapidly learn other UI technologies.
• Demonstrated hands on experience in enterprise JavaScript, Angular, Oracle, etc.
• Critical thinking and Problem solving
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions based on sound design principles
• Self-driven and well-motivated
• Prior experience of working with Global Technology teams
• Good Analytical, Debugging and design skills
• Basic SQL Knowledge.
• Clear, Concise Communication skills, ability to articulate Problem/Solution
