Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team!
This DevOps-focused role oversees and monitors live production operations to keep the software application suite reliable and performant. You will identify, diagnose, and respond to service disruptions and performance issues, perform troubleshooting and corrective actions, support sustainment, and partner with development and operations teams to keep systems healthy and services running continuously.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of experience as a SWE-2, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus 5 years of experience as a SWE-2, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
- 7 years of experience as a SWE-2, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Required Skills + Experience:
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
- Experience developing scripts using Bash
- Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Distributed logging and monitoring (ELK Stack, Prometheus/Grafana)
- Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Familiar with Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
- Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
- Experience using Git Source Control System
Desired Skills + Experience
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQL
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
