Job Description
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team!
The Software Engineer will implement access control and permission solutions that secure critical High-Performance Computing (HPC) system resources, developing authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists, and permissions for HPC systems in a Linux environment using Python and Rust, while ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR
- Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
Required Skills + Experience:
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes
- Recent software development experience using Python
- Recent software development experience using Rust
- Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
- Experience developing authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists, and permissions for HPC systems in a Linux environment
- Basic Linux systems administration including User and Group Management
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Desired Skills + Experience
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
