Your role with us:
Develop,applyandoperatesoftware tools written in Typescript and Python
Developscalabletest automation scripts inTypescriptwhich serve as a quality gate within the release process of the Blue Yondercognitiveplatform
Leverage Microsoft Azure cloud services to build scalable services for our internal users
Write clean, well-structured,documentedand efficient, maintainable code that adheres to software development best practices
Automate workflows byleveragingexisting APIs of theBlue Yondercognitive platform
Working in an agile team with an emphasis on quality, testability, and automation
Create software artifacts and microservices for internal teams and external customers
Collaboration with Data Scientists, Solution Architects and Software Engineers of other teams in the Blue Yonder microservice landscape to develop tools for the scalable use of AI solutions in supply chain
Your Profile:
WorkingknowledgeofPython and Typescript asprogramming languageand associated tooling (npm, yarn,mypy, black,pytest, pip, IDEs etc.)
Passion for quality and willingness for automation
Ability to write production-ready code provene.g.by adegree in Computer Scienceandworkexperience
Knowledgeofbuilding andmaintainingsoftware artifacts
Knowledge of microservices and REST APIs using frameworks like Flask or Django
Knowledge ofBehaviorDriven Development, Cucumber (Gherkin syntax)
Experience with version control systems (git)
Knowledge of SQL and database technologies, for example PostgreSQL,Snowflake is a plus
Understanding of data engineering paradigms
Passion for CI/CD,DevOpsandClean Code
Interest to learnnew technologiesand methodologies
Opennessto innovation and leveragingGenAI – both as a support tool in the development process as well as to enhance our software solutions
