Job Description

As we continue to innovate and grow, we’re searching for a forward-thinking Software Engineer I to join our automation team and help us build the future of capital markets infrastructure.

As a Software Engineer I, you will:

  • Write clean, maintainable code primarily in Python.
  • Work with Python to integrate external APIs, leveraging asynchronous libraries.
  • Proactively identify gaps in process, automation, or test coverage and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Be a key contributor to our process and team culture, continually iterating on how we build products, not just on what we build.

REQUIRED SKILLS 

  • MS/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Experience with Python async libraries.
  • Linux application development experience.
  • Experience defining test scenarios and test cases to ensure quality of team deliverables.
  • Passionate about writing software that is clean, simple, and elegant.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experience with API integration using Python.
  • Familiarity with C and web development stacks.
  • Experience with shell scripting.

This position requires being on-site at our office in Needham, MA full-time (5 days per week).

CompensationIn compliance with Massachusetts law, the anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $107,500 to $130,000. Please note that this range represents the expected base salary for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. This range does not include other forms of compensation such as potential bonuses, equity, or benefits.
