Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Software Engineer I – Java Backend Developer to join our ever evolving Billing and Funding team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you’ll own

• Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in the design and development of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to design and manage data effectively.
• Contribute to code reviews and adopt CI/CD and version control practices (e.g., Git).

What you’ll bring

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, and data structures.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot or Spring MVC.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Knowledge on AWS services like S3, ECS etc.
