Join us as a Software Engineer (Golang) and become part of our growing engineering team. You will work on high-performance, production-grade systems that power real-world applications, while contributing to scalable architecture, robust engineering practices, and solutions that deliver meaningful value to our customers.

Your Impact at Brevo:

    • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable backend services using Go.
    • Build scalable APIs and services for high-volume, production-grade applications.
    • Contribute to system design, technical decisions, and architectural improvements.
    • Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and well-tested code.
    • Work with databases, caching systems, messaging platforms, and external services.
    • Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
    • Investigate and resolve production issues through effective logging, monitoring, and debugging.
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
    • Collaborate with other development teams and business units to deliver integrated solutions.
    • Work closely with Product, QA, Platform, DevOps, and SRE teams.
    • Identify technical debt and contribute to its prioritisation and resolution.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for services and processes.
    • Continuously learn and share knowledge with other members of the engineering team

Who you are:

    • 2-4 Years of professional experience developing backend applications and services.
    • Strong proficiency in  Go/Golang
    • Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
    • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs or other service interfaces.
    • Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
    • Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
    • Understanding of caching technologies such as Redis.
    • Familiarity with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka.
    • Experience writing unit tests and integration tests.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern software development workflows.
    • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, or similar.

Nice to Have

    • Prior experience in a high-scale SaaS or B2B email/marketing technology
    • Familiarity with AI tools and coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted development workflows); strong integration of these tools into daily workflow is a plus.
