Job Description

The Web & Mobile Engineer will develop, test, and maintain high-performance frontend web applications and mobile modules, translating complex product and design requirements into interactive, responsive user experiences. Working within cross-functional Agile teams and alongside DevOps, the role supports production-grade full stack delivery by building secure API integrations, designing data schemas, implementing authentication/authorization, and ensuring code quality through testing, debugging, and peer reviews. The overall impact is enabling reliable, secure, and maintainable web and mobile experiences that integrate with backend microservices and meet audit and performance expectations.Roles & Responsibilities

1. Develop, test, and maintain high-performance frontend applications and mobile modules using ReactJS, React Native, and NodeJS
2. Translate complex product and design requirements into highly interactive, responsive applications
3. Design, optimize, and manage logical data structures and schemas across NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational/SQL databases
4. Implement, document, and consume robust GraphQL and RESTful APIs to bridge mobile and web applications with backend microservices
5. Secure API endpoints and client-server transitions by implementing and enforcing authorization and authentication controls
6. Implement system authorization and authentication (AuthN/AuthZ) using JWT and OAuth 2.0 standards
7. Design, test, and document modular, highly reusable UI components for consistent aesthetics and maintainable code
8. Write clean, testable, and highly optimized code while enforcing code quality standards
9. Perform advanced code debugging and troubleshooting and contribute to thorough peer code reviews
10. Use Git to coordinate shared development branches and collaborate with DevOps teams using tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Docker, and AWS CodePipeline
11. Participate in Agile SDLC activities including brainstorming, task breakdowns, sprint reviews, and daily standups to maintain shipping momentum

Required Qualifications

1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience focusing on production-grade full stack software delivery
2. Hands-on, deep development expertise in ReactJS, React Native, NodeJS, GraphQL, MongoDB, and SQL
3. In-depth knowledge of implementing AuthN and AuthZ standards, including JWT and OAuth 2.0 (and session token storage)
4. Practical familiarity with DevOps and version control tools including Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, Docker, and AWS CodePipeline
5. Familiarity with cloud hosting services and deployment pipelines on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
6. Deep comprehension of Agile software development lifecycle, scrum ceremonies, and SDLC best practices

Preferred Qualifications

1. Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach to debugging and verifying complex business requirements for feasibility and conformity
2. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and/or Filipino for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders
3. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and/or collaborate effectively in highly synchronized engineering teams
4. Comfort multitasking and delivering results under pressure
