The Software Engineering Co-op is responsible for the creation, enhancement, development, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions that will shape the future of the security industry. Interaction with Quality Assurance, Tech Support, Documentation, Training, and Product Management will be required on a periodic basis. Primary responsibilities will be developing services and backend support of web applications for LenelS2’s software security products.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize C++ / C#, Python, etc. in code development.
• Working with senior engineers, UX designers, security engineers, and product owners to deliver features directly to both internal and external customers.
• Writing code to support product features, test automation, infrastructure, and deployment.
• Working with Microsoft development tools, including Visual Studio, and database concepts, including SQL Server and Oracle.
• Participating in peer review to both share and receive feedback.
• Design, develop, test, and demo as needed within a delivery team.

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in engineering related field
• 3.0 or higher GPA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing in one of the following languages: C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience developing, testing, and using complex, high performance software applications.
• Highly motivated, fast learner who works well independently and within a team.
