The team

You’ll join an APAC electronic trading technology team based across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Pune, focused on delivering tailor-made ultra-low latency electronic trading solutions for clients globally. Our scope includes building and operating low and ultra-low latency co-located solutions across markets such as Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan, staying close to evolving exchange technology in the region. You’ll work closely with business sponsors, clients, third parties, and aligned network, infrastructure, and production services partners, operating in an agile model with end-to-end ownership from requirement gathering through delivery and production support.

Your skills and experience

• 5 years of experience in a similar role focused on electronic trading within the finance sector
• Strong Python and Unix (especially Linux) skills, including shell scripting
• Proven track record working with FIX messaging in electronic trading environments
• Deep knowledge of equities trading platforms and the trading life cycle, including low-latency trading and co-location setups
• Hands-on background across front, middle, and back office systems and workflows
• Ability to work directly with stock exchanges and manage trading and market data infrastructure changes
• Solid grounding in low-latency trading technology, including FPGA, low-latency networks, low-latency development, and exchange protocols (e.g., OUCH, Arrowhead, HKEX protocols)
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standard and ethical use.
