In this role, you willfollow the full software lifecycle to develop, deploy, and authorizeAgentic AI tools that bring new levels of automation to the Federal Government.The team willbe developing products that automate data quality analysis,optimizeapplication performance, andlaunch domain-specific LLMs.You willoversee the team tostand upa new environment,deploy Groundswell’s proprietary apps,andfollow the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO)

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable software engineering solutionswithin the C3 AI platform

• Design, build, and delivertools and frameworks thatautomate data quality analysis

• Integrate Agentic AI capabilitiesinto Groundswell apps and tools

• Collaborate with data scientists to implement AI agents.

• Build scalable tools enablingimproved developer workflows, testing, and release processes.

• Enhance engineering and code quality best practices company wide

• Develop visual toolsto provide visibility into code quality, test coverage, and engineering metrics.

• Oversee RMF process to achieve ATO.

• Work closely with product, UX, front-end, and back-end engineers.

• Fix bugs, solve problems, and improve products proactively.

• Mentor junior engineers and support team growth.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master of Science Degree preferred.

• 5+ years of software development experience.
  

• 5+ years of software development experience with Python and JavaScript.

• Provenexperience in design and developmentoffull-stack web solutions.

• Solid knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and web development.

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Redux, Vue, Angular, etc.).

• Experience withmachine learning,including deep learning algorithms.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Active Secret clearancerequiredat time of hire The selected candidate must be able to obtain andmaintaina Top Secret/SCI clearance and complete a CI polygraphin accordance withcontract requirements.

• Must be local to the DC Metro area and able to be on-site3-4days a week

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in engineering or related field.

• Knowledge of distributed systems, TDD, SQL/NoSQL databases, and performance optimization.

• Experience leading engineering teams and projects.

• Experience with C3 AI platform preferred.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$89,901.00 - $175,477.00
