In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust backend systems that power scalable web applications. You will design and develop high-performance APIs, implement server-side logic, and ensure seamless integration with front-end components. The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders, to deliver reliable and efficient digital solutions. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from architecture design and coding to testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization. This is a hands-on engineering role where clean code, scalability, and performance are key priorities. You will also play a role in improving system stability, enhancing features, and resolving technical issues. • Design and develop high-quality backend architecture and scalable software solutions using Django and related technologies.
• Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs to support seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable server-side code for web applications and backend services.
• Integrate frontend components with backend systems in collaboration with frontend developers.
• Manage and optimize databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB to ensure performance and reliability.
• Improve application performance, scalability, and security through continuous optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define testing strategies, write test cases, and ensure software quality.
• Perform regular maintenance, updates, and enhancements to existing systems and features.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar software engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in Python with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in team environments.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
