Major Responsibilities:
Analyzessystem requirements and existing business processes and information systems. Participates in business process reviews.
Participatesin systems planning,schedulingand implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule.
Designs and develops components for all application tiers, including but not limited to UX, business logic, databaseaccessand web services.
Participates in the development of automation techniques to enable end-user content publishing and communicating with existing content management systems
Creates prototypes and codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software applications.
Maintains links to external sites and accuracy on internal links while ensuring up-to-date information.
Researches,evaluatesand recommends new Internet tools and applications for use in assigned responsibilities.
Contributes to presentation and business-logic tier of self-service, customer-serviceand enterprise systems.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
None Required.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science, or related field.
Experience Required:
Typically requires up to two years of related IT experience or equivalent developer training

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Basic understanding of current Web technologies and knowledge of Integrated Development Environments (IDE) tools to code, test, debug, document and implement software applications.
Object-oriented analysis,designand development skills.
Experience or education in technologiesfor building, managing, and interacting with enterprise web applications and service-oriented architecture
Demonstrates continuous learning to remain current on evolving software development technologies and practices.
Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills when consulting with internal and external partners.
Organizational and analytical skills. Ability to gather and organize data.
Problemand issue resolution skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks, set appropriateprioritiesandaccomplishassignments in a thorough andtimelymanner.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Must have functional vision and ability to use acomputerthe majority ofthe day.
Position requires some travel. May be exposed to road and weather hazards.
Generally exposed to a normal office environment.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
