About the Role:
We're looking for an Android Framework Engineer with expertise in C++ to design, develop, and optimize Android framework components and native services.
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop Android framework components using C++
- Implement native services and interfaces for Android applications
- Collaborate with teams to integrate C++ components with Java/Kotlin code
- Optimize performance of native components for Android apps
- Troubleshoot and debug C++ code in Android framework
What You Need to Be Successful:
- 3-6 years of experience with Android framework and C++
- Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17)
- Experience with Android NDK and native development
- Familiarity with Android architecture and framework internals
- Good understanding of Linux and embedded systems
- Experience with git, CI/CD workflow
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Experience with automotive-grade Android platforms
- Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Familiarity with AIDL interfaces and native services
