At Group Digital, we drive the digital agenda to keep IKEA leading in an uncertain and fast-moving environment. We develop, provide, and operate innovative digital products and platforms that scale globally and support millions of customers every day.

We are the Marketing Planning & Briefing team. Our mission is to empower marketers with intuitive digital tools that transform how campaigns are planned, executed, and measured, driving smarter decisions and measurable business impact.

Who you are

As a Software Engineer, you are passionate about programming, and enjoy solving complex challenges with technology. As part of our Digital Marketing Team, you’ll work across both SaaS platforms and custom-built solutions. Here, collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We believe the best results come from shared ideas, teamwork, and a genuine curiosity to understand every stakeholder’s perspective.

You have experience in the development, integration, and optimization of agentic systems, specifically within the Marketing domain. Having an understanding of marketing processes and challenges is beneficial.

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI agents and intelligent systems. To succeed in this role, you bring the following:

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying Agentic services
  • Experience building agents with Agent Development Kits (ADK) or similar frameworks
  • Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) & Tools Usage how to expose functions, schemas, and tools so that LLMs can reliably call external capabilities (e.g., executing SQL queries, fetching live data).

We see it as a bonus if you have:

  • Experience with data engineering pipelines for AI model training and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with various SaaS platforms and external services
