Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, Web APIs, SQL, and enterprise application development, along with good understanding of Supply Chain/Catman domain.

The ideal candidate will be technically strong, hands-on, and comfortable working across development, troubleshooting, defect resolution, performance optimization, security, and production support. You will also collaborate closely with global engineering, automation, product, and customer-facing teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a scalable, resilient, event-driven, secure, multi-tenant microservices platform built on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement new product features and enhancements using C# and .NET Core.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs and microservices.
  • Analyze and resolve internal and customer-reported application defects.
  • Develop new stored procedures and optimize/enhance existing procedures based on business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, security, and production issues.
  • Analyze application logs, network traces, and performance metrics to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Participate actively in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.
  • Work closely with the automation team and provide technical support wherever required.
  • Collaborate with product, platform, QA, DevOps, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Independently analyze complex problems and drive issues through to resolution.
  • Contribute to improving application reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

What We're Looking For

  • BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, or MCA from a recognized institution.
  • working on large and complex enterprise applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core Web API.
  • Good experience with REST APIs and microservices.
  • Working knowledge of React.js.
  • Strong understanding of SQL/MSSQL and stored procedures.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of Operating System concepts, preferably Windows.
  • Understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals.
  • Experience with at least one scripting language such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, PerfMon, or equivalent open-source tools.
  • Understanding of application monitoring using tools such as Telegraf, InfluxDB, and Grafana.
  • Experience with at least one cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior/mid-level engineers.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in Supply Chain, Catalog Management (Catman), Procurement, or related enterprise domains.
  • Experience working with event-driven systems and distributed microservices.
  • Experience with Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Elasticsearch, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues in cloud-based applications.
  • Knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorization concepts such as OAuth.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
