Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing development team in Houston. This role is ideal for a mid- to senior-level developer with at least 5 years of experience who enjoys working across the full technology stack and building high-quality, reliable software.

You’ll work across multiple applications and projects, contributing to the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software that supports real-world industrial operations. The role involves both frontend and backend development, with opportunities to contribute to application architecture, APIs, cloud services, databases, and integrations.

You’ll work closely with other members of the software team to solve technical challenges and deliver maintainable, scalable solutions. While experience with our specific technology stack is a plus, we value strong software engineering fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn and work effectively across different technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain web applications across frontend and backend systems
• Collaborate with product, QA, and other developers to deliver new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Assist in designing scalable and reliable system architectures
• Contribute to documentation, including technical and user-facing content

Tech Stack

Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, C#/.NET Core, SQL Server, Rust, Tauri, and Electron.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
• Experience with at least one of the following frontend frameworks: React or Agular
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and web development concepts
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and backend technologies
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and relational database design
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Experience with .NET / C#
