Responsibilities

What You'll do

Join Principal Financial Group and be part of a world-class team that strives for excellence in everything we do. As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building, testing, and supporting cloud-based applications and data solutions. You'll work in an Agile Scrum team, developing solutions using AWS Glue, Athena, Lambda, S3, KMS, CloudWatch, and IAM, while writing code in TypeScript, Python, or Java.

You'll have opportunity to:

• Developer role is responsible for developing, testing and maintaining the application/s with established processes.
• Develop and maintain technical designs based on requirements
• Develop application code for programs while following coding standards
• Develop and execute unit tests
• Complete Analysis & documentation as required by the project
• Support application testing and resolve test defects
• Report status updates as required by the project
• Follow established project execution processes
• Get actively involved in Training, self-development & knowledge sharing

Qualifications

Who You Are

Education: Graduate – Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) or Masters in Computers or relevant

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Athena, Lambda, S3, KMS, CloudWatch.
• Robust understanding of AWS IAM, including roles, policies, and permissions.
• TypeScript or Python, or Java.
• Proven experience in Agile methodologies.
• Experience with production support and problem resolution.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
