Description
Team Optimus positions Infor at the frontier of enterprise AI by embedding cloud-native, agentic intelligence across all Infor Enterprise Apps (M3, LN, CSI, FSM, WFM, WMS, CSD, CPQ, MES, GRC, SCP, and more). We build scalable AI engines, repeatable platform patterns, disciplined economics, and trusted governance practices that shift ERP from transactional tracking to predictive, prescriptive, and autonomous operations.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes
- Design, build, and ship cloud-native, multi-tenant AI capability services end-to-end, on a shared reference architecture.
- Build vertical agents that orchestrate those services plus business rules to drive real ERP workflows - understanding business context, recommending next actions, and acting under human-in-the-loop approval.
- Integrate LLMs and ML models into production - inference APIs, tool-calling, agent orchestration, and retrieval.
- Design and implement data models and semantic business layers that reflect business objects, requirements, and constraints.
- Contribute reusable AI services, reference implementations, internal scaffolding/codegen tooling, and CI/CD pipelines that let ERP product teams ship AI faster.
- Build value tracking into your solutions to quantify ROI, adoption, and retention impact.
- Embed governance, privacy, security, auditability, and model transparency into your solutions from design through production release.
- Create and maintain technical designs - architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and system specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams - product, security, and compliance - and take part in strategic-customer co-innovation sessions to align technology with business goals.
- Ensure the scalability, security, and compliance of the AI solutions you own.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience building and shipping production software, with a focus on AI/ML solutions.
- Proven experience building cloud-native, multi-tenant services on a major cloud (AWS preferred), including async/queue-based processing.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience integrating LLMs or ML models into applications - inference APIs, tool-calling, agent/prompt orchestration, retrieval, or model-serving.
- Experience with microservices, API-driven architectures, and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency building data models, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
- Understanding of enterprise security, identity management, and data compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a compiled, statically-typed backend language (Go is a strong plus).
- Depth with specific agentic AI frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, CrewAI, Bedrock Agents) and multi-agent systems.
- Container orchestration experience (Kubernetes / EKS).
- Experience with batch and real-time architectures, model management, and MLOps.
- Exposure to applied ML, operations research, or supply chain optimization.
- Awareness of responsible AI practices - governance guardrails, model monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms (ESB/iPaaS, API gateways, data integration/lakehouse). Infor OS (ION, API Gateway, Data Fabric) a plus but not required - we'll train you.
- Familiarity with Infor CloudSuites across different industry segments.
- Bonus points for AWS certifications.
