As a Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing assembly and test systems, reusable software libraries, and manufacturing processes for next-generation Additive Manufacturing products. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will develop software solutions that interface with production equipment, instrumentation and automated systems, helping to bring new products from development into manufacture.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain domain knowledge in Additive Manufacturing whilst working with state-of-the-art technologies in a research and development environment.
The position is based at New Mills, our global headquarters and does have hybrid working opportunities. From time-to-time, introduction of new software will require certain tasks to be carried out onsite, so flexibility may be required during key phases of these releases.
As a Software Engineer at Renishaw, you'll be enthusiastic about applying technology to solve real-world engineering challenges. You'll be comfortable working across both software and hardware domains, with a willingness to learn new technologies and gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes.
You'll be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. A proactive approach to problem solving, strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions will help you succeed in this role.
