Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join the Windows and Devices organization. In this role:

• The ideal candidate will design, implement, ship engineering and data products that transform how Windows is built and shipped.
• The ideal candidate will forge partnerships and collaborate with others across the engineering and product/program management disciplines within W+D and contribute to building and maintaining a culture and environment that engenders continuous learning and open collaboration.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screening:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to resolve ambiguities effectively, prioritize and drive projects to completion, balance multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
• Attention to detail and a passion for great design.
• Experience leveraging the latest AI technologies in real-world software solutions.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 49,500.00 - € 83,900.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
