Description

We're looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to build and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces for our enterprise applications. You'll work closely with backend engineers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver features that drive real business value for our customers.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deliver software features aligned with business needs.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that follows best practices and Infor development standards.
• Leverage GenAI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, KIRO or similar AI coding assistants) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and boost productivity.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and daily stand-ups to ensure software quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.
• Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies to improve product performance and reliability.
• Support deployment activities and help maintain the health of production environments.
• Document technical decisions, processes, and best practices to strengthen knowledge sharing across the team.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with the Angular framework.
• Familiarity with state management patterns (NgRx, Redux, Pinia, or similar).
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) or CSS-in-JS solutions.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API integration and asynchronous programming.
• Working knowledge of version control with Git.
• Practical experience using GenAI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q or similar) to support coding, debugging, and documentation tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to micro-frontend architecture or independently deployed frontend modules.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with additional modern UI frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating GenAI capabilities (LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or AI-driven features) into frontend applications.
