We are looking for: IT Solution Architect

You’ll break new ground by:

  • Translate business and functional requirements into architectural models and technical roadmaps for frontend solutions
  • Define and evolve enterprise-wide software architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategy
  • Lead architectural governance, technology evaluations, and strategic decision-making
  • Establish and implement architectural standards, frameworks, and Siemens guidelines
  • Ensure architecture is secure, scalable, maintainable, and efficient
  • See opportunities to incorporate AI/ML capabilities into products and processes to deliver business value
  • Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to the organization’s digital roadmap
  • Lead and guide development teams in sophisticated implementation challenges around security, integration, data modelling, app performance, deployment strategies and more, based on Siemens requirements.
  • Analyze risks, develop architecture roadmaps and handle technical debt
  • Act as technical key authority for IT partners and Software providers with regards to future development of frontend components and the integration into the Siemens landscape

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

  • At least 8 years of experience in design & implementing frontend components
  • Demonstrable experience as a Software Architect
  • Solid grasp of architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, cloud-native compose)
  • Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python)
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with AI/ML fundamentals, including model lifecycle, MLOps, and data engineering concepts
  • Know-how of (Siemens) regulatory requirements in IT compliance, e.g. Information Security, Data privacy, etc.
  • Proficient & hands-on experience in architecting, designing and handling continuous delivery systems using Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work on sophisticated issues autonomously as well as team-based
  • Strong critical thinking
  • Strong problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management of internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Experienced working with and in international teams
