Job Description

Meet the Team

  • We are DSE PI common (PI NeXT) team handling platform independent components like BGP, VXLAN, L2/L3 Multicast, TRM, BGP-EVPN for Data center Business Unit.
  • Our responsibility is to test and automate the features with high quality. We are responsible for end-to-end solutions testing for any customer requirements.
  • We own the Programmability, Telemetry and regressions for BGP, VXLAN, L2/L3 Multicast, TRM, BGP-EVPN components.

Your Impact

  • Candidate responsible for Manual testing and automating the given features.
  • Deliver the features with high quality as per given timelines.
  • Providing technical expertise and mentorship to the team regarding proper test methodologies.
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating test activities.
  • Designing, developing, and implementing automation and enhancing test automation framework as necessary.
  • Partnering with architects, technical marketing, product management, development teams to define and implement comprehensive test plans.
  • Conducting test case and code reviews to validate test scenario accuracy and coverage.
  • Modernizing and automating testing to improve overall code quality and automation code base.
  • Adapt to the newer technologies (AI/ML)

Minimum Qualifications

  • MS EE/CS combined with 12+ years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined. Good experience in feature level testing and system level understanding of switching and routing platforms Good understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols and different L2 to L7 technologies. Automation experience with Python or equivalent programming language Deep technical knowledge in BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Multicast, TRM protocols Vision to lead and solve sophisticated problems Excellent teamwork and communication skills Self-motivated and highly ambitious

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of DC customer deployments and good networking skills. Familiarity with the SW development cycle and software engineering Familiarity with Linux and modern software tools and techniques for development/debugging.
  • Understanding of CI/CD integrations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with virtualization VMWare ESXI, KVM is a plus
