of Position

This role focuses on designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing Finance automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate combines Power Apps/Power Automate development, Finance process knowledge, production support, and stakeholder engagement to automate and optimize financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Power Platform Development

  • Design, build, and maintain solutions using:
    • Power Apps
    • Power Automate
    • SharePoint Lists & Forms
    • Power BI Dashboards
  • Develop approval workflows, ticketing systems, intake processes, and automation solutions.

Finance Process Automation

  • Automate Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and operational workflows.
  • Create solutions for:
    • Approval Routing
    • Notifications
    • Bulk Uploads
    • Financial Request Processing
    • Operational Dashboards
  • Reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency.

Application Support & Maintenance

  • Troubleshoot production issues across:
    • Power Apps
    • Power Automate
    • SharePoint
    • Dashboards
    • User Access and Permissions
  • Manage enhancements, testing, deployments, and release validation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
    • Finance
    • FP&A
    • Accounting
    • Financial Systems
    • IT Teams
  • Gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide documentation, training, and user support.

Governance & Controls

  • Maintain strong controls around:
    • Financial Data
    • User Permissions
    • Workflow Changes
    • Auditability
    • Production Releases

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience in application development, business process automation, or systems support.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Power Platform experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Finance, Accounting, FP&A, ERP, or enterprise operational processes.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and supporting production applications.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience with Finance Transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle EPM/TM1, or NetSuite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Power BI reporting experience.
  • Experience designing and supporting ticketing systems and approval workflows.
  • Knowledge of financial master data and chartfield processes.
  • Experience creating process documentation and training materials.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on Power Platform Developer who can independently handle requirements gathering, solution design, development, production support, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management, while driving automation and process improvements across Finance and enterprise operations.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $53,580 to $122,400

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
