Job Description

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to work within the GPS division of Agency Studio, working to apply defined software development life cycle processes to deliver production-ready code of the highest quality. In this role, you will be responsible for creating websites and HTML templates based on information gathered through a structured onboarding process.


The Software Engineer (Frontend) will play an integral role as an effective Agile Scrum team member. Add value and contribute to the overall success of the Agency Studio Services team by displaying creative problem-solving skills, acting as a positive role model, and a proactive approach to ensure a collaborative work environment. You will work closely with the Agency Studio and wider MRI Support teams to ensure client specifications are met and high-quality websites and HTML templates are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with MRI team members and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Create websites and html templates from information gained through a structured onboard process.
  • Implement design and functionality using CSS, HTML, PHP (code wrapping only), and SCSS.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Help solve problems with software, across a vast spectrum of complexity, language, and framework types.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Maintain and improve existing websites and html templates.
  • Continuously learn and be at the leading edge of MRI and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in CSS, HTML, PHP (code wrapping only), and SCSS. Experience with Java is desirable.
  • Expertise in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma.
  • Strong understanding of web and html template design principles and user experience.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering pixel-perfect designs.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of css frameworks, bootstrap or tailwind for example.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to breakdown/ convey technical and complex ideas.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
