Our team is responsible for the quality of a suite of highly available services and systems . These are consumed by Akamai core platform teams that run our CDN solution.

Create, enhance, and sustain software solutions to meet user needs, optimize system functionality, and align with organizational objectives. Partner with diverse teams to deliver dependable, scalable, and high-quality applications. Follow industry standards, best practices, and deadlines while fostering innovation and improvement throughout the software development process.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts and design principles.
• Demonstrating expertise in programming with Python effectively and proficiently.
• Gaining experience with Typescript, particularly within the realm of React development, is highly beneficial for this role.
• Demonstrating expertise in creating APIs with the Flask framework is preferred.
• Possessing expertise and experience in Kubernetes for orchestrating containers effectively.
• Gaining experience with Docker to enable containerization and deployment effectively.
• Demonstrating expertise with the Loki, Grafana, Fluentbit, Logstash, and Prometheus stack.

• Hold expertise in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with at least three of experience in the tech industry.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment and operate independently as necessary to achieve objectives effectively.
• Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities and quickly adapt to and learn emerging technologies effectively.
• Demonstrate exceptional ability to communicate effectively through both spoken and written methods.
