Within Azure Data, the messaging and real-time analytics team provides comprehensive solutions and a robust platform that enables users to ingest high granularity signals (real-time & observability) and complex data, converting those into a competitive advantage in real-time for both end users and modern applications.
The Fabric Activator team is seeking a Software Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. This role requires technical expertise with distributed systems, cloud based infrastructure, automation, security and compliance. You will contribute to cross-team initiatives and code bases that enable the consistent deployment, maintenance and protection of our 50+ micro services, distributed across more than 40 Azure regions. You will also be part of the delivery team for several core services that ensure continuous end to end testing of data flows and experience.

* Build and evolve core backend services and cross-cutting infrastructure to support scalable and resilient systems.
* Automate DevOps workflows and operational tasks to improve efficiency and eliminate manual overhead and actions.
* Enhance system monitoring, observability, and reliability to ensure robust production performance.
* Contribute to centralized codebases, delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions that adhering to engineering standards
* Contribute to ongoing security posture improvement programs across our Azure fleet.
* Be part of the on-call rotation to respond to and mitigate live site issues.
* Identify and use appropriate artificial intelligence (AI) tools and practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a disciplined manner
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications
*Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR
* Distributed systems development and deployment experience with cloud services ( e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP).
* Experience with large-scale software engineering.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across Poland is zł 104,100.00 - zł 191,300.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
