Job Purpose:

Join BorgWarner’s manufacturing software team to develop cutting-edge automation software that powers End Of Line (EOL) manufacturing stations for Electronic Controller Units. In this role, you will collaborate with test and system engineers across multiple international sites, driving innovation and efficiency in automotive manufacturing. You will also design and implement software solutions for label printing machines, ensuring seamless integration into production workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced automotive technologies while working in a truly global environment.

Key Responsibility:

 Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing automation software using C/C++ for EOL stations.

 Collaborate with global manufacturing test and system engineers to deliver robust solutions.

 Develop software for label printing machines used in Electronic Controller production.

 Implement and support DLL development for integration with manufacturing systems.

 Ensure reliable communication with automotive protocols (TCP/IP, CAN, FlexRay, UDS).

 Apply software configuration management and change management tools effectively.

 Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with clear, logical, and innovative solutions.

 Document and present technical solutions to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner

What we are looking for:

 Strong experience in C/C++ development.

 Hands-on experience with Visual Studio development environment.

 Knowledge on Python scripting (added advantage).

 Experience in DLL development and integration.

 Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (TCP/IP, CAN, FlexRay, UDS).

 Basic Knowledge in embedded software development (preferred).

 Basic understanding of operating system concepts and networking protocols.  Experience with software configuration and change management tools.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to find both straightforward and unconventional solutions.

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation ability.

 Customer-focused mindset and ability to work in a global team environment.

 Fluent spoken and written English

Open to work across different time zones.
