Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Informatica IICS Specialist with strong experience in cloud-based "Data Integration" and "Application Integration". The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), with additional expertise in databases, Unix environments, and API integrations.

The ideal candidate will also have a basic understanding of HR domain processes and exposure to modern cloud and CI/CD practices preferably Oracle HCM.

Data Integration (IICS)

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
• Build and optimize mappings, tasks, and workflows
• Ensure performance, scalability, and data quality across integrations

Application Integration & APIs

• Develop integrations using Informatica Application Integration (CAI)
• Design and consume REST/SOAP APIs for real-time and batch integrations
• Work with event-driven and service-oriented architectures

Database Management

• Work extensively with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting

Unix & Scripting

• Work in Unix/Linux environments for job execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency

CI/CD & Deployment Support

• Support deployment processes and integration lifecycle management
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control practices for code promotion

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams
• Participate in design discussions and provide scalable integration solutions
• Ensure timely delivery aligned with project goals and best practices

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
• Hands-on experience in Informatica Application Integration (CAI)
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and Shell scripting
• Experience in working with APIs (REST/SOAP)
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration patterns
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills

Basic / Preferred Understanding

• Basic understanding of HR functions and processes
• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools
