Labcorp is seeking a remote Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team!
Work Schedule This is a full‑time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 2.00 pm to 11.00 p.m. in your local time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Job Responsibilities
Team Development and Mentorship
Assists the UX/UI designer team with brainstorming, research, and translating wireframes into reusable components.
Take ownership of assigned application development tasks.
Technical Oversight
Develop through modern Agile development methodologies intuitive, easy-to-use software in collaboration with the development team, project managers, business analysts, UX designers, quality assurance and users across the organization.
Leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., code generation, refactoring, test generation, documentation support) responsibly to accelerate development while maintaining security, quality, and compliance standards.
Delivery and Operations
Design and code complex RESTful micro services for new applications and enhancing existing applications.
Follow best practices for test-driven development and QA automation integration.
Create end to end automation & leverage frameworks to enact IAAS as part of highly maintainable ecosystem
Provide modern and performant solutions for large-scale applications.
Perform full-stack application development using advanced expertise in OO programming & design patterns
Deliver prototypes, reusable and shared UI components, advanced scripting solutions, and implementations of complex single page applications.
Innovation and Emerging Technologies
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform innovation and continuous improvement efforts within the engineering organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
5 or more years of JAVA or any OOP language development experience.
3 or more years of experience developing single page application with Angular or React.
2 or more years of experience developing applications using AWS (Lambda, ECS, IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, API gateway, SQS, DynamoDB).
2 or more years of experience working on SPRING frameworks developing RESTful web services.
Demonstrate the ability to learn new technologies, research new areas within computer science, and apply this research to ongoing initiatives.
Have excellent troubleshooting, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
Show strong analytical, communication and team collaboration skills to actively participate in our Agile teams.
Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of experience with the latest Angular frameworks, Typescript, HTML5 and CSS3
2 or more years of experience developing container based and serverless applications.
2 or more years of experience with messaging services like SQS, Kafka, IBM MQ, or ActiveMQ.

About the Role
Full Stack Software Engineer will leverage their technology skills to develop business solutions within the healthcare industry. You will be challenged with cutting-edge technologies to provide a modern framework for container, cloud, and serverless Java/Linux-based solutions and Angular-based single page applications. You will be engaged in a wide variety of work, including but not limited to web applications and web service development, platform development, automation, and coaching/mentoring of teams adopting the platforms. You will contribute technical thought leadership in our agile development teams and deal with complex business integrations, eliciting requirements, and implementing secure and high-performance services consumed by various devices and applications across the organization. You will drive our software evolution and innovations ensuring that we meet our internal and external clients' software needs today and tomorrow.
